Myspace trackers not working? Options

I hope this is the right place for this. Today I asked a friend of mine on myspace to look at my profile to see if the hits were being tracked and her visit hasn't been posted. Then I went to myspace to look at the About Me section and the Blog section to see my tracker code and I got this:

The ORIGINAL tracking code, however, which I checked on here right after is this:

What are those two lines of letters and numbers that come up? Is that some sort of tracker ID? Because I see that when I go to my profile and I hover above the Createblog image, it shows that sequence of letters and numbers. If that sequence of letters and numbers showing up DOESNT affect the effectiveness of the tracker, why is the tracker not working for me? I haven't seen any hits updated even though I know for a fact my friends have looked at my page. Has anyone had this problem or am I not understanding something about the tracker? What could be wrong? How can this be fixed?

I think the same is happening on my livejournal page. I just got a tracker for that and nothing is being tracked. Am I not putting the code in the right place? The instructions are weird since I don't see any "S1" under customization. Sorry for being a dummy and thanks in advance for the help.
