Hey
theres this pic i reallyy like but dont knoww how too do it:(

how did she get the white like around her body & how did she cut it out so neatlyy please help because im really rubbish with cutting and really new too photoshop Cs3
I was also wondering how she got that borderr thingy where she wrote her url i think?

For the cutting, I'm not too sure about it... but the white border around her body is created after you've cut and paste on a transparent layer, then adding a stroke on the layer (Edit -> Stroke OR Layer -> Layer Style -> Stroke).

You mean the half-transparent orange box beneath the words? You can just use the Rectangle Tool with the Fill option with a low opacity so that it comes out half-transparent.

You can cut the picture out with the magnetic lasso in ps and the freehand selector (better for making blends but you have to be careful so you won't make a mistake. Go back and forward between the background eraser and regular eraser and use the freehand tool to delete most of the background.) in psp or use the background eraser (warning: can be frustrating)

For the picture you can find sites that has PNGs that's pictures already cut out for you.
