Godaddy sucked ass for me. Granted, it would probably be fine since you're just starting out. Their basic hosting plan couldn't hold one hundred people trying to access my site at once when I'd update, and their custom service was horrible.

Freewebs is a FREE host site.

You create a username, which is also your sub-domain name, and password. You can either have webs.com/YOURSITENAMEHERE or YOURSITENAMEHERE.webs.com. You get to choose.

I wouldn't recommend using freewebs, I used it for like 5 years and I was not personally happy with it. I would just recommend using Godaddy.

I've been using x10hosting and they haven't really disappointed me. They have had a few server problems but they are very attentive to them and they provide the best features for a free host. They do support php and as for wordpress you'd have to install it yourself but that's not that hard I mean they have a tutorial for it on the wordpress website.

I remember I used BraveHost for my first time and I kind of got tired of it after two months because it wouldn't let me use PHP and some other codes. Eventually, I just got a cheap hosting plan at FatCow. I've had for about like 5 months now and I'm pretty satisfied with it. _smile.gif
