On 20/20 right now, they are having an interview with her. They asked her about book banning, and she said that she never wanted to ban books. She said that someone once asked her what she would do if a parent asked for a book to be removed from the library. She laughed at all the lists online that she "banned".

Not half as "cheap, dirty, and false" as McCain's recent campaign ads, and those are actually being officially approved by the candidate and party.
Anyone with any sense can see that this list is fabricated. But that doesn't take away from the fact that it's being spread because of her actual attempts at removing books from the library, which is deeply disturbing no matter what the books in question were. |
