You. Pluck. Your. Eyelashes...? That freaks the hell out of me LOL.

oh okay I read it wrong, you plucked out your individual ones that you got put in. I think those are called eyelash extensions or sth, and they're semi-permanent. It's too much of a pain for me, seeing as how you have to be suuuuper gentle and you can't use mascara (WTF?). Yeah.

lol they say you no longer need mascara. it does somewhat make a difference if you have nonexistent eyelashes like me. girls are critical so most will notice. the most annoying part was showering because the eyelashes tend to droop down.

i do pluck my real eyelashes. i always feel like there is something in my eye. instead of rubbing them like normal people, i have a tendency to pluck.

^ Dude, the plucking sounds really scary. Does/did it hurt?

Has anyone ever cut/trimmed/snipped their eyelashes? My mom said she cut my sister and my eyelashes when we were babies to help them grow faster.......................... so dangerous.

I have never intentionally cut/trimmed/plucked/removed any of my eyelashes. It sounds scary, and plus I don't want to lose what little length I have.

LOL the noise. I'm curious. I'm imagining this weird twang sound.

^ I got it at the facial place I go to. I wouldn't have ever gotten it done, but the lady gave it to my sister, my mom, and me for free for Chinese New Year. XD.gif

What kind of f*cked up head-shaped pears are you eating?

My haters have commented on my fruit-shaped heads before (e.g. Vyrrei and her peaches). Am I noticing a trend here?

Look, if you want to offend me, wax poetic on something that actually matters to me (not that other people will agree with you). And if you weren't trying to offend me, you seriously have the same people skills as Thomas does.

At least Vyrrei got the general shape right. stubborn.gif Never have I seen a round pear.

And yes, your attempt at being funny was horrible.

Ugh Gigi, I am in love with your eyes and the way you do your makeup. I need better brushes!! Suggestions? Preferably ones that don't break the bank, haha.

Bored and getting ready for an End of the World Party!

Clinique Brush On Creme Eyeliner- True Black
Bare Essentials
BADgal Plum Mascara
Bourjois Effet Lumiere- Les Argents 46
Ulta Loose Eyeshadow- Platinum
Sephora Glitter Powder- #22
Philosophy Lipgloss- Raspberry

^I have an ace bandages around my wrist FYI. Slipped and fell on ice in front of my apartment and really effed my hand up.

I LOVE THAT SECOND PICTURE GRR. Sexyy ;) love your brows too!

Hmm, cheap brushes that are good...I remember the first ever makeup brushes I bought were from Costco...Borghese I think? There were like 12 brushes under $25 CND. They're not amazing in quality but great for the price. I love the big eyeshadow brush in that one - it's so soft! They come out with a new one every year, and the one this year had a bunch of synthetic bristle brushes.

If not check out the Sonia Kashuk brushes at Target (personally have not tried because I don't live near a Target but heard great things about them), Eco Tools (I think that's the name) with the synthetic bristles + bamboo handles which I'm sure they sell at Target too.

If you want to get serious about your cheap brushes then check out Crown Brushes and the ones from Coastal Scents (Crown Brushes supplies Coastal Scents so they're essentially the same brushes).

Quick review on Crown Brushes: http://nessasarymakeup.blogspot.com/2008/0...lip-pencil.html

Rachel, you look like a hot librarian type. Lol.

I have some Essence of Beauty brushes from CVS. The face brushes aren't so great but the eyeshadow brushes are really good.

I've heard really good things about Loew Cornell which are actually artistry brushes but are soft enough for makeup. And they are only a few dollars each.

Some people use paint brushes instead of makeup brushes.

I would try that except I have no idea where a nearby craft store is. I don't want to spend money on a 239 brush from MAC if I can get one for like $3.00 at Michael's.

He goes into more detail about it ;)
