My family uses strong lingo in our house. Examples.

Remote Control for TV = Clicker
Household Vacum Cleaner = Sweeper
Neosporn for Cuts = Sav

Things like that, it's weird.

cool! over here most of my uncles and aunties speak pidgen english which is the language foreigners used to talk to eachother on plantations !
chinese, japanese, hawaiian, portuguese...even filipino!!
we use terms like bumbai (later on), slippers (flip flops? that's a weird name), tax (steal), spot (borrow ie. "can you spot me some money?) huli (hoolee - leave, go) pau (pow - done), shishi (lion in japanese, urine in pideon english), HAOLE (all you guys - not hawaiian people) mahalo, aloha...etc.
but its mostly english modified differently:

like this:

eh, mah, try pack me one cupanoodles ah? i gotta da kine das why...

translation:

hi mom! could you pack me cup of noddles because i have to bring my own lunch today?

da kine usually means anything...so sometimes its kind of hard to understand my grandpa... like sometimes he says:

"eh last night, i wen go to da place, wea i wen see da kine doing da kine drugs!"
