^ Here in BC it's 12%. Still hurts. :( WTF WHY IS SPECKTRA NOT WORKING FOR ME? Could you guys be a babe and make sure that this link: http://www.specktra.net works? For me it just keeps loading and never finishes. DAMN IT I NEED MY SPECKTRA FIX!

There are CCO's (cosmetic company outlet) that sell MAC and other brands under Estee Lauder. They sell a lot of old, discontinued stuff for cheeeap. I'm a few hours away from the nearest one (Seattle), so the next time I go, I am SO going there.

Gigi, did you try the MSF yet? After all the research I've done on them, I really want one but I've never used anything like it before. Some people say it's too shimmery?

Yes I did try it. From what I've read (this is my first MSF btw), the old ones were very glittery, with bits of glitter in it. This one doesn't have that very obvious glitter, more like an intense frost finish like the frost finish eyeshadows. Plus it's in stripes so you can choose which colours to use more conveniently. It imparts a really nice sheen so it makes a good highlighter. The Redhead one is especially great over a blush with similar tones (I used it over Nuance which is warm, very peachy blush). Loves it! Of course if you're not into shimmery/glowy cheeks then this isn't for you (although I'm sure you could use it for eyeshadow and whatnot as well. The lightest shade would be a nice highlighter). :D

I'll be posting in the makeup thread soon so you can check out what it looks like there ;)

Ugh. I just spent a ridiculous amount of money.

Wilfred wool/cashmere coat on sale for $124.99
Colcchi ankle boots - $44
3.1 Phillip Lim t-shirt for $19!

and........
I got a Mackage coat!! Yay!

To be fair I tried it on at Aritzia and fell in love with it but it was too expensive even on sale... then I found it online for $100 cheaper...

so broke though........ sh*t sh*t sh*t. :$

Alright so i dont have it at my house right now but i ordered it yesterday and im pretty stoked after all the toubles ive been through to get it!

Also my last shopping trips are usually via internet, closest mall is 1.5 hours away from me and i usually dont go shopping in my town much since one of the stores have ridiculous prices now-a-days.

Congrats on the purchase! Finally!!

thank you biggrin.gif i had so many unlucky times

First place: Good price at first, then it went up, then down and didnt include the lens anymore and then found a different one at the site when i got the money and found out people got scammed stubborn.gif
Second place: Price was good though a lot of people said it was gray marketed and my dad e-mailed the people and they said it was U.S made which was just kinda fishy. Plus it would have been a hassle if i bought it and somehow needed to send it back
Third place: Circuit city, about $100 more and was out of stock but i figured maybe if i got the money it would be back, then they say that they are going bankrupt stubborn.gif i was going to call the store closest to me but my mom didnt think it was too good of an idea because they could hold it and sell it to someone else if i didnt get there in time.
Fourth place: ritz camera, got a good $150 off and my dad e-mailed them and they said that it isnt in stock atm but they were going to get it from the manufactuer and then send it to me, they also said that the $150 would still be active if i bought it now.

Im still $18 short but i worked things out with my parents because they were starting to feel bad and didnt want to risk any chances either.
