I have no idea honestly, but I doubt it will be Hilary. _unsure.gif
I always thought Edwards would be a good choice, just have to wait and see who he chooses.

Damn I need a late pass. crazy.gif
But to be honest I really don't know enough about Biden to make a solid opinion. I'm going to fall back and do some research, don't want no one attacking me like in that other thread.

I really like Biden, he and Richardson were my favorites during the nomination process, they performed really well in those early debates. I especially liked Richardson because he's fluent in Spanish, so he would've brought something different and mirrored the changing face of the country. But Biden's cool.

I've missed getting Carrie and Kiera confused...

Anyway. I think it's a pretty good ticket, from the persepective of someone who can't vote for it.

Biden plagiarized some British politician, and has made racist comments in the past.

The choice makes sense, but I still don't like either of them.

Doesn't matter anyway, Obama has one of the staunchest baby killing platforms anyway. He could have appointed Gandhi as his VP and I still wouldn't vote for him.

I just can't believe he picked someone that bashed on him earlier.
Well, all the presidential hopefuls bashed him at some point =\

I really liked Biden.
When I worked at Jungle Jims my boss told me about him and I loved his stances on things.
I think they just might get my vote.

I think it was a wonderful choice.

Biden has tons of political experience. Some people argue that Obama does not have any political experience, and therefore he should not be put in office. With Biden as his running mate, he has the back up he needs when it comes to political experience.

Plus, he might get some of the old white racist men's votes.

That was a pretty good read. I think the article is on point somewhat though, because Obama knows they are going to use his inexperience against him.

Obama still got my vote though, that dude swag is through the roof.

What's so enlightening about Obama balancing the ticket? It's what I would do. It doesn't necessarily say anything about his own confidence, but rather about his perception of the voters. It's just astute, and not even remarkably so.

it seems like common sense to me shrug.gif just like how a lot of people don't have faith in McCain's economic knowledge, so they want him to pick a VP with more knowledge/experience there.

i think in the end it's better to go that way.

Exactly. That article is just a predictable negative analysis from someone who I assume wouldn't have voted for him whoever he had named as VP candidate, and who would likely have written a similar article about whoever else he'd named.

Cosign. My friend was saying pretty much the same thing last night before Biden was officially announced. And he's not politically minded in any way, shape or form.

How is it lack of reading comprehension? You called that article "pretty enlightening" and two people think it's redundant.
