Revamped my first layout, New layout, old one was NOT GOOD Options

So my first layout was, well, overdone. Anyhting I could think of I put in it. Bad idea. So I went back and simplified everything. It is a bit monochromatic as I am just getting used to graphics and how to use my editor.

its pretty plain, &nothing is really popping out.
but, its your first layout, &it takes a while to get really good.
i mean, i still suck. haha. but, that's good, for a first.

Yes, I am stuck when it comes to colors. Any suggestions for the fonts? I have a limited knowledge of fonts so if you know some that would benefit let me know.
