Ew, study and work. I'd prefer partying. Which is sad, 'cos now that I'm home, I can't do much of that. But I do like reading.

QUOTE(venti-anemoi @ Aug 11 2008, 11:44 PM) *
Most of the songs I have are in Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and whatever language Josh Groban sings some of his songs in (I never bothered to find out).

Most operas are in Italian, German (thanks Wagner!) and French.

Hmm, I think they're probably in Italian. It definitely doesn't sound like German, and my brother (who took French in school) didn't recognize it as that.

ZOMG Wagner is like hell on cheek muscles if you're an oboe player. The brass really love him, though. I heard one of his operas ("The Ring," I think?) is like five days long. I can't imagine playing it. >_<

Hmm, lemme think. I'm an oboe player, and I've been playing for 6+ years now. I got pwned in my seating audition for my youth symphony a week ago and now I'm really depressed.

josh groban performed for my h.s. a good year before his "you raise me up" single got released. at the time, i didn't know who he was, but my vocal major friends knew about him 'cause they prolly had to sing his songs in class. i didn't think "you raise me up" would get too popular, but now i hear it every freakin' graduation.

@tung, you're wrong. i feel pretty in-between about you, but then again, i feel that way about a lot of people. i also used to be pre-pharmacy, but currently i am more focused on biochem. i'm don't think i even want to be a pharmacist anymore.

@olivia, i like tennis, too ;]. i'm very attached to my first racquet, given to me by my uncle. i still play with it even though it's heavy and at least 15 years old -_-"

Lol, Carrie, for real. I feel I've managed to negciate my way through my first year of college while avoiding actual class as much as possible, and have succeeded remarkably.

I hate my crappy waiter job where I don't even make minimum wage, and have to tolerate people being snotty at me, instead of stabbing them with the breadknife like a normal person.

A spork would make it more painful. And isn't it called minimum wage for a reason?

I need to find a job so that I can support my bubble tea addiction.

Well. Techincally, I bring in enough money to make minimum wage, but my hourly rate is less, because I'm expected to make up my actual wage out of tips.

It's the resteraunts nice way of conning their employees. YAY!

Haha! Restaurant jobs are awesome even though you get paid minimum. Because most of the time the tips you make usually covers that, and you actually make alot. Depends on what restaurant though, and if it's a populated place or not.

Anyways, I'm Tung again, and love to pig out after a long work out! happy.gif

Hi, Moni. wave.gif I used to be able to do that when I lived in my old apartment but now I won't be able to since I've been down and in with my grandmum. :(

My name is Jane and I'm afraid of balloons. People think I'm kidding or they think its humorous to take a random balloon out of nowhere and rub it in my face until I burst into tears, which makes them uncomfortable.

I'm still Carrie, and at one point I wanted to change my name to Guinevere.

But moving on, I once considered adding an Emmaline in front of my full name.

Thomas - Wow, school starts early for you!
Carrie - I wanted to change my name to Daisy when I was 7 because of Daisy Duck. I screamed and cried when my mother told me it sounded like "piece of poop" in Cantonese.
Jane - It's okay, I'm afraid of whales!! I even freaked out when I saw the images of whales in the background while those people sang at the Olympics opening ceremony.

And because I'm so afraid of whales, I know that I will never be able to go whale-watching... so I got a caricature artist to draw me doing just that. The picture's hanging in my bedroom wall right now. xD

My fears are a lot more abstract: death (because absolutes are scary), embarrassment, and failure.

Hey Sammy. Neon's cool. Gotta love a good Nu-Rave theme every now and then.

Also, Jane, don't feel bad, I know two people who are morbidly afraid of stickers. It's great fun.

Hi, Jane. I've never painted my nails before. It must be the Asian parent influence.

Hi, I'm still Zephyr, I'll be a senior in a couple of weeks, and I have absolutely no idea what college I want to go to/what I want to study.

Hi Anders...there's nothing wrong with not spending a lot of money; it can actually be a smart habit...

Anyway, Hi, I'm Kamaria, I enjoy modeling & promoting college parties in ATL with HiitSquad for the AUC & surrounding schools...
