is it good? do you like it? it's been on my list for a long time but i never get around to it.

It's pretty good. I like it a lot better than all the other required readings. It's really short, but I'm only a few pages into it.

Currently reading New Moon by Stephenie Meyer. I love the Twilight series - plan on finishing the whole series of course. After that, I might get into the James Bond series. Ian Fleming is an amazing author, in my opinion.

^I want to read the Bond series, too! I haven't gotten around to it. But I think those are next on my list.

I'm still reading the IBM book.

I will soon be done with In Cold Blood and start on Choke by Chuck Palahniuk.
I've finished In Cold Blood. So f**king good, but in that scary, I-wish-I-had-never-read-this kind of way. Choke is alright. I heard dreadful things about it, but since this is my first time reading Palahniuk's work, I can't say how it compares to his others.

The Discourses, Machiavelli

Oh, JC, to answer your question way back when, I really liked The Prince. It's not something I would have read for pleasure or anything, but his views on how to be a successful ruler, conqueror, etc are pretty interesting. A really nice change from Augustine & all the Biblical works we had to read before Machiavelli.

Finished Choke. Wasn't nearly as bad as people said it was. Now starting on The Ayatollah Begs to Differ: the Paradox of Modern Iran by Hooman Majd. SO EXCITED. I've been waiting for this book to get to the library for the past month.
