Written for English class last year. We had a list of these silly words we had to incorporate into a poem
![]() The yellow fluffy shark got lost in the midnight mist In search of his lover, the five-eyed panda, who had never ever been kissed Along his way he found astray a poor little ant The heartless ant said you can’t, you can’t find her, no you can’t You’re sadder than the purple pumpkins that cry on Halloween Wake up shark, open your eyes, know this is not a dream The shark was crushed like a fly swatted against the wall ‘Til he met a featherweight hero who said don’t worry, don’t you worry at all He had compassion for the shark, compassion oh so deep Floating smiley faces came and told him not to weep The hero sent a pink elephant to guide him through the night And said you are, you are a star; you shine high and mighty and bright The shark gained strength and found at length his hopes are never dead Because he found his panda and became a smiling, giddy newlywed I-Do’s exchanged, what a change, they had faces full of joy Smiles a ton and after nine months came a newborn baby boy The family galloped their way through a mystical prairie of water And as they come out they scream and shout for they had found a daughter. |
