A play on William Shakespeare's Shall I Compare Thee to a Summer's Day. Written about my ex boyfriend.
Shall I compare thee to a hot cup of cocoa? That which I can sip on a chilly winter’s day Oh, your warm and comforting hugs drive me loco And they make all my fears and troubles melt away Goodness I love me a mug of chocolate delight Cuddled up warm and snug by the calming fire Every tender taste adds perfection to the night Oh how your richness fulfills my heart’s desire Cocoa in the morning, noon, and night in my dreams How could one not love thee with such a scent so sweet? Your scrumptious charm is never-ending so it seems Every mouth-watering sip knocks me off my feet With a sensation so sweet and caring You can be sure I won’t be sharing. |
