I have looked at the scripts. I have searched the forums and found one resolved issue that I think pertains to this problem, but I think the person asking the question was misunderstood. Said poster was asking how to erase an IP address, and people were asking that poster why anyone would want to do that.
Well, I have the Myspace tracker and it works exactly as it should (thanks), but I have misidentified an anonymous visitor. I labeled an IP address with the wrong person, and now I can't make that IP address anonymous again. I can only RE-identify, but I do not know who this person really is, so I'd like to just make it blank again. I cannot seem to find the function to accomplish this. Does it exist? Am I just missing it? Can someone help? TIA. (*I really am sorry if someone posted about this and got an answer....*) |

this can't be done, you can only change it to someone else. :\ That's what I thought I'd realized. Thanks. Just make it say "Anonymous" I don't think you can. You basically have to enter someone's actual profile url and on what network. If I typed "anonymous" for Myspace, I would most likely come up with someone, but not the right someone. Thanks anyway, though. :) |

If thats the case, I don't think you can fix it. Which is what Christy said. I'm not extremely knowledgeable about the tracker, but I'm pretty sure there is no option to un-identify an incorrectly ID'd IP address. I'll bring this up with Jusun and see if he'll add an option to do that, though. For now, you'll have to live with that wrong IP. ^^; Sorry for the inconvenience. |

Aw, thanks. I do appreciate it.
I am living with the Misidentified IP addresses (there are actually two) - but my OCD-ness isn't handling it too well.... :P I'll keep checking up on it. :) |
