^ I know what you're thinking. We've had this discussion a number of times. It's not necessarily that we think this show is anime, because it isn't, but it displays a lot of qualities typically seen in anime.
Furthermore, the reason the Avatar thread is in the anime forum is because that's just close enough for us. |

Does anyone know (exactly) when the next season starts?
I'm dying. I just re-watched the Tales of Ba Sing Se. (I love the Tale of Zuko, Sokka, and Iroh) Oh, and what are they going to do about the voicing for Iroh? The dude who voiced him, Mako, passed away. |

for a kids anime i enjoy it alot and sometimes question if kids really understand the show
but other than that the show is uber funny and a great show to watch cartoons can't really compete with Anime |

You can buy the First Season (separately or box set) and you can buy the first disc of the second season (at least last time I checked at WalMart) It's the first American show I really look forward to. American animated shows have potential, but with all the annoying screening that has to be done, the story lines will remain shallow and the true violence in fighting will never be shown. |
