It's a tad difficult to judge based on this screen print alone. It looks very cute, albeit simple. What type of layout is this for? Layouts can be rejected for a variety of reasons. :x

i'd consider doing a more creative navigation considering how simple it is. but yeah, you can't really tell that much from this picture.

I don't think that the red around the content box works very well. The other colors are lighter and have more of a pastel tint to them. Maybe instead of having the About Me words right there, make some headers. It will help break up the content that's going in that little square.

It's really plain, but I think it would be approved.
A suggestion on what you could do to make it a bit more interesting: Make the content box a color other than white. I'd personally ditch the glow, too. Also I'm not really fond of the way "about me" looks. The color is a bit bright compared to the others in the picture, and the font doesn't really fit. |

i agree with karmakiller... the red isn't working for me either & headers would work so much better. & for the nav, i suggest using the same colors as the little robots(?) & rollovers would be nice. overall i love the colors and the little creature things are cute.

The thing that bothers me about the content box is not the color, but the fact that it's all blurry while everything else is smooth. I also don't think the font really works (I would maybe go with a handwriting font.
As for the background, I would try to go with something that isn't white. Maybe if you could come up with a simple pattern that goes with the design? I think with such a small layout, having a bunch of blank space might make it look really empty. |
