Ok, so I'm black. Big Whoopie. That's a crucial piece of info so it had 2 go first. Jamaican to be exact. I have a perm, and ALOT of hair. It goes....ummm...if i were to cut my back into 4 parts horizontally it would go well into the first quarter....ugh, just know it's past my shoulders. I wanted to get highlight, Roman Bronze. I'm scared to get the real thing because I don't want my hair to pick out...I would kill myself!! So I got the temporary highlights, the spray in kind, I got the comb at first and i was so pissed cause it totally caked my sister's hair up! I tried it our fully on her, the one part of my hair that it went thru came out cakey 2, but the color showed a bit better. My natural hair color is all over the place, like my mom's it's dark brown and every now and then we'll get a streak of gold, for my mom, and light brown for me right above our ear that looks cool when you put it in a ponytail but eh..that's not the point. I wanted to know if it was okay to put temporary highlights in african american hair. I've already sprayed some in and I LOVE the change. Mayb I can put up a pic later, but i wanted to know if I would have to pay dire consequences later. I would be crushed if my hair started to pick out, so I want to know if its bad so I can just nip it now. My girl and I are going to the beach woohoo and the color matches my bathing suit lol! It also looks cool with my shades. I'll need to get sun screen so I don't turn 50 million shades of black (thats a black joke in case you didn't get it..... (~_~) stubborn.gif mellow.gif lol)
