There are lots of programs to capture screenshots.

If you're to capture screenshot of a web page and you're using firefox, I'd recommend ScreenGrab! which is available here:
ScreenGrab

Otherwise I suggest Hypersnap DX which is available here:
Hypersnap DX

What is the advantage of using a program? I am just wondering.

screen shot programs can capture an entire page. if you use the "print screen" function on your keyboard, you get what you see, and nothing past where the screen ends. they're good to use if you need to take a picture of a long layout.

Such complicated answers for such a simple question....

Usually up at the top of a keyboard there is a row of buttons. F1, F2.... There should be a print screen function. Possibly F14 on older keyboards.

Go to your art program and just past the shot by hitting past or Ctrl+V and save. Help any?

first look on your keyboard and look for the Print screen button
its usually above the insert button.

Then open up your program
whether it be ms paint or photoshop

then do File > new > paste
also to past is hold down teh ctrl button and press v WHILE holding the ctrl button

hope that helps

If you have Windows, this might help because it has some diagrams. I don't think you usually have to hold down Alt with the Prnt Scrn key though (as it says in the instructions).
