Can yall tell me what you think of my layout. It got rejected and i don't know why, so I just want yall's opinion. Here's the link to the preview and a screenshot.

Copyright infringement? Ha ha, I forget all the rules, and the rules for acceptance on cB.

Anyway, would it hurt much to fix your header? It's really bothering me that you cut off her fingers and what looks like part of the gun. If you still have the source image, try scaling it down a bit to fit it all in. Also, "Angelina Jolie" text is really just floating around.

is it Copyright infringement? its a downloadable wallpaper. The finger and the gun are like that. well not exactly i set the width to 990px i use 1000px but it show a scroll bar at the bottom of the window and i don't like it so i just made it a little samaller.

It's a bit plain. All you did was take an image of Angelina Jolie and add some text to it. But to be honest, I don't really see why it was rejected either. I don't personally think it's the best (no offense), but there have been worse layouts accepted.

^i agree it is a little bit plain it's like everything is thrown all over the place. no organization to it. but the concept is good...keep working on it and it might get accepted.

i agree that it is too plain, and the image is generally quite...odd? its very striking in comparison to the rest of the layout and not much has been done to it.
also, the image doesn't have a WOW factor or look appealing enough for people to want it to be the header of their site.

Angelina Jolie looks downright scary in that picture. Or maybe that was what you were looking for - intimidation.


But anyhow, I don't think the rest of the layout matches the dominant image. The font looks kind of kiddie to me, and the music player just looks awkward.
