[Vaguememory]

I remember those words you sung to me

In the meadow of our freedom

I remember those words

And how they felt to me when I lost all hope

And you took me in to your life

I was a shadow, of a once proud child

A shadow of someone with promise

But time, and wasting away

Took me to the ground

And tried to do away with me

But you saw the promise, in my sorrow filled face

And took me in to your life



And as we walked through the meadow

Hands in each others hands

We walked, no we ran,

Through the lives of misery into the sun

You took a chance and ran away with me

When I was breaking down

You didn’t let my problems,

Worry you too much

So you took the dive with me off the edge of the cliff

Into, a new life, that I just couldn’t miss

You saved me, from myself

And I’ll save you too
