Away, we turn away
From the things inside We wished to hide Come and we go Running away from the whole Of society and our home Life and death A chance for a lie A chance before we die Try to make it through the day And then we all go up in smoke You shouldn’t have spoke Standing tall above it all Obliterated into nothing All lost for something Can you truly believe Inside that place you see In silence we will always be Stand tall and defiant Just like a giant Forever self reliant You can never keep it right Everything you’ve done wrong Don’t hide and write a song Stand back and rue the day Walk slowly away You will die today |
