the world's comfort zones

that fade to unknowns.

The world's resolution
will stop in its track,
and your stolen ambitions
will turn faint in pitch black.

So you lose motivation
and drown in your fear
that you're too imperfect,
and they don't want you here.

But then you remember,
there's more to your worth,
and God said the meek
will inherit the earth.
