I made a new layout for my site.

http://www.sharpermyspace.com

I am not sure if I like it or not. I wanted to see what you guys thought of it before I switched layouts. I like it better then my current layout.

What is your opinion on it? Thanks :)

Ya. I think I am going to use this one. It looks more inviting.

What do you think of the links?

haha actually I tried to make them stay the same size, but for some reason even though I put in the same size in for the hover, it still made them bigger 0_o But I am glad that you like it!

Ya the white does look a little plain. What would you suggest for a background?

for the background I think I would first do black but I would probably change my mind and go with diagonal stripes with colors matching the header:] idk:]

The background image is far too large a file size for it's simplicity.

I agree that your current one is much better. I think the whole black nature scene over a colorful background is a bit too common. Everybody does that. D:

lol actually I haven't seen anyone do it :P

Wait. When you say "current one" do you mean this new one, or my previous one? Cause when I made this topic, my old one was my current one. But now the new one is the current one. So I don't know which you mean.. lol I am confused.

You've never seen someone put a black tree over a colorful background? There are probably at least ten layouts on here like that...Anyway, I meant your old one, sorry. Your first post said you didn't switch yet, and I didn't read through the rest of them.

It's very... plain. The white background looks odd since everything else is dark. The grass is obviously a brush too, so you must not have put too much effort into this. I'm not saying that to be mean =\. And yea, the links are screwed up in ff too. But just when I hover them.

I hate it how nothing ever looks right in FF. Seriously. Why can't FF ever get it right? grr

This was the old layout:

i think ff is better than others. you should just edit in ff then make it look right on others like ie and safari. and i like both of them equally.

Yup, FireFox is more standards compliant than any other browser I'm aware of, code for FF and hack around for IE, not the other way around.
