...to turn this picture of innocent, fresh-faced Emma Watson, (click, it's a thumbnail)
 into this picture of edgy Rihanna, complete with winged blue eyeliner and bold fuschia lips. (click, it's a thumbnail)  My attempt:  I did this because I was so bored, so I'm not really thinking it's amazing. I just love experimenting with digital makeup though. It's a ton of a fun...fellow retouchers/colorizers should try it! |

Cool challenging yourself like that. Not bad at all, nothing about it screams fake or anything. I know I wouldn't know how to do anything like that.

The lips are quite a change and probably the thing that stick out most to me about this. I think you did a great job on the eyes.
Man, whenever I try to experiment with makeup it always comes off as just screaming fake, as AC said. |

My whole point of this was more of a makeup thing than to make her actually have Rihanna's features. So uh, I don't know about changing the lip shape. Thanks though :) And everyone else. |

That looks great, I'll try and make something and post it. I doubt it will be as good, I'm still trying to figure out all this retouch stuff. I wish some of the other great designers were still active here, I would love to see what they would do.

^ You totally should! I'd love to see it.
Oh, and just for the record...it was hard to change Emma Watson's natural looking lips to a matte bright pink, so I literally cut out Rihanna's lips and warped them to fit Emma's mouth, then it was set at a lowwww opacity. So if you're trying it, and it's not working...then yeah. |

wow her eyes actually remind me of marcia cross from desperate housewives now for some reason, anyways great job on the eye makeup and blush too (switching between the pre/post makes her look really drab in the pre picture :X)
