can you feel my heart beating
faster as the seconds go by
still frame the time freezes
covering my ears before you say goodbye

but it was only dream
a moment that happened long ago
though it still feels real
the feelings, the pain it still shows

i'm stuck in a time frame
where my memories are long gone
deep inside the corner of the room
the sun never shines or dawns

the only light i receive
is when the moon shines in the night
up high, and so bright
grasping this feeling i hold tight

i try to remember
but it seems that i can only forget
faster and faster
im burning faster than a cigarette

time is running out
but my body has already decayed
why my mind still wanders
in these everlasting days

no matter how i far i travel
i always end up at a church
where the people are weeping
for a body they search

one by one they disappear
until im the last one there
no eye contact, no faces
no movement not even a glare

the casket remains
and the moon shines its light
i can hear the clock ticking
its goodbye and goodnight
