its nice, but there is way too much going on with those sidebars. the navigation was not easy to find with all that's going on, so less is more in this situation.

^ yeah, I guess I went a bit too crazy with that. the navigation and sidebars went well with my previous layout and i didn't feel like cutting anything out. i'll work on that now.
