change username Options

For cB staff.
i want to change my username... so what are the cons of changing my username here on cB?
like do the links with my old username would keep working or something, etc....

I don't think you can change your username right now since you can only do that every six months, but you haven't been a member here for even one month.

What do you mean by links with your old username?

let's say i just changed to a new username (which i haven't duh) would the links with my (old) username work. like at the bottom of the layouts it would say the username of the person who submitted it? cuz i read that it wouldn't work/change, is it true? & what else doesn't work if i change my username?

synesthesia - you can change your name right after you sign up, but won't be able to for another 6 months. i did it.

rockguy - none of your old links will work, but the database will update to display your new user name. it took a few days for my layouts to be updated to my new name. the only problem i ran into was that on my layouts i was putting a credit link back to my old cB user name, so i had to go back through and change those.
