Constant and severe UTI (Need Advice!), urinary tract infection Options

So as the subject reads, I am suffering from a constant and severe UTI (Urinary Tract Infection). The first time I realized I had one, I discovered what it was after having sex with my boyfriend after many times, and experiencing some of the symptoms, such as stinging sensation while peeing and sharp odor and cloudiness of the urine.
I went to the gyno and he gave me some medication for a severe UTI. I took it until it was gone like directed, and about 2 weeks after the medication was finished, the infection came back.
This went on for a good 6 weeks, so I went back to the gyno. He told me the same thing, yadda yadda yadda. So, for the past year or so, I have tried a variation of remedies, from prescription medication to drinking gallon after gallon of cranberry juice and taking cranberry pills with water daily.
Needless to say, nothing seems to work.
Within the past few weeks, the pain hasn't been near as bad as it was a while ago, but there is still a strong odor of my urine and it is clouded. I am also frequently getting some other symptoms such as frequent urge of urination.

I was wondering if any other girl around here has had any of these problems, and if so, please let me know what kind of stuff you did to finally make it go away. I don't want to spend the rest of my life on medication for this :(

Here are some quick facts about my life/health:
I am 20 years old.
I am sexually active, but only with one guy, and it has only been one guy for that past almost two years.
I was diagnosed with high risk HPV about one year ago (which I have read would have nothing to do with it, but if anyone else does and has the same problems I do, then maybe that fact would help?)
I am on Yasmin birth control, which i have been on for almost 5 years.
My symptoms are usually the worse right after having sex, even though I cleanse myself properly before and after.
