I do it. My toes, my neck, my back and my fingers. Sometimes I do my ankles.

I know I'll regret it in about 20 years, but it's a habit.

Not intentionally.

I used to have a nervous habit of cracking my knuckles, but I stopped that a few years ago.

This.

I don't know how to do it intentionally anyway. And I heard it's a recipe for disaster when you're older; the joints in your bones get all weak and loose and you'll just fall apart.

^ Urban myth!

And yes I do it, totally absentmindedly too. Blame my mom/brother for starting it.

It does not degrade joint cartilage or anything of the like. One study concluded that it can lead to hand swelling and diminished grip strength, but the correlative evidence of it has been refuted. It's more likely that metacarpophalangeal joint laxity entails both knuckle cracking and impaired hand functions, which would mean that it isn't a causal effect.

^Yeah. When people reproach me, I always tell them science proved that false.

One thing I hate about cracking my knuckles is that my fingers aren't slim and pretty. It makes manicures look weird.

You sound like the kind of person who watches nature documentaries and gets antsy-pantsy when the male elk douses himself in urine to attract the female.

I thought this was about the 'CRACK' for some odd reason...

But I do crack sometimes... It's not intentional but,, it's somewhat natural thing for me now because I do it everyday. It annoys my parents and some of my friends. Any way to stop this??

Aw man I hate it so much. I think it's disgusting. My body always does it unintentionally. My knees crack, my neck cracks, my elbows and the part where like my thigh and pelvis connect? It's f*cking gross I hate it D:

But, I do occasionally crack my fingers and toes D:
Not too often though. Only when it feels really.. I don't know the word for it. But I'll do it when I feel that I should o_o.
