This is just getting friggin' ridiculous. Eventually we're not going to know who made what unless it's got their name rank & serial number stamped all over every single graphic and embedded into every code.
Good lord. Some days I just don't want to be a designer, because someone somewhere is gonna steal it all eventually. I have a photomanip on deviantArt and the other day I saw it as Flair on Facebook. Facebook!!! Who does that?! Who takes a work of art (okay I'll admit, it was crap but it was the first thing I ever did) and turns it into Facebook crap? People spend hours, sometimes days of their lives working on things only to have someone else claim it as a "photography layout" on some stolen layout site? We might as well just stop making things...then they won't have anything to steal! >_< Argh. //edit// And since when did "layouts" like this qualify as creativity? Any idiot with a Photobucket could do that... ...oh, wait...that's all that site is...and idiot with a Photobucket. *much anger* |
