Aren't they just not illegal? What I got out of it was that they'd soon be legal, but aren't yet. Regardless though, great news!

I don't have a problem with them at all. To each his own in my opinion.

Well it's about damn time. California is supposedly one of the most liberal states, so I was surprised that this was illegal for as long as it was.

Hahaha, I remember voting for Gary Coleman when Davis was ousted. lol (I know, throw away vote, but I wasn't supportive of the Governator, at least he (Coleman) got more votes than Gallagher hahaha).

All forms of marriage should be banned. If I had it my way, we would reproduce through chestbursters.

I really don't foresee many other states following the trend.

...there would be no difference in the birth rate unless the tendency for homosexuals was to engage in straight relationships while waiting for this ruling to pass.

you guys are probably like wtf considering i'm catholic & believe in same-sex marriage. lol. but i don't always agree with everything the church says.

Honestly I don't really care, if that's the lifestyle you choose & wish to unionize then fine. Today's society is more open to anything nowadays. I just know it doesn't affect me in any kind of way so it's the least of my worries.

Dude, stop making news related topics in the lounge XD.gif

Well thats nice, what are all the other states that allow this? I'm not for same sex marriages, but more power to them I guess.

Yayyyyyyyyyy

I still can't believe only 4 countries and (now) 2 states allow same-sex marriage. The thought that it's a bad idea doesn't even occur to me.

Wow. It took so long to finally decide which is very surprising.

Now, we will have a flood of gay epidemic in our state where all the gaylords will rush to California to pursuit the best life at the best state where we have great beaches, food, and whether.

It’s really interesting about the mind of Californian. We’re probably the most diverse state of the country considering the fact that we are located by the Pacific Ocean next to Mexico and receive Asians from Asia + more immigrants. We’re becoming more cultural accepting … and now we’re accepting gay. Wow, that’s just wow.

I'm not against or for homosexual. It amazes me how we, as Americans, as Californian accept these extremely sensitive controversial issues about homosexuality that had been going on, on, on and on … for many centuries throughout the history.

Yeah, the article did say that it wasn't going to be passed for another 30 days.
Yeah 30 days and then it'll be for sure intil those crazy people get something on November's ballot to try and overturn it.

I hear Ellen is getting married!

This is a wonderful day. We'll look back on this one day like we look back on segregation and anti-miscegenation laws.
