There are a lot of layouts with broken images (hosted by CB). I was wondering if it was possible to restore these, because some of them are really great layouts.

Some examples:

http://www.createblog.com/layouts/code.php?id=9712
http://www.createblog.com/layouts/code.php?id=8627

[I love stream_reflections's layouts :3]

As Thomas said, we are going to have to contact the designers and see if they have the images. Or see if Jusun can dig them up from somewhere, which I doubt.

And I doubt we are going to be able to get all the images back considering a lot of those layouts are from older members that aren't active anymore.

this happened to my newest submitted layout, the background image was broken so I tried manually and the file wasnt found, so i replaced it with a tinypic url instead.

Mm, yeah, it happened to a lot of my older layouts, but I still had the original code with the images hosted on ImageShack, so I just edited and repasted them in.

That's too bad; a lot of the layouts with broken images are really really good. *sigh*

Well if you do put your images with tinypic, make sure to check back to them because after they get to much bandwidth they'll delete them.

I know, at least with recent layouts, if they you reject them and then go back and accept them again that they usually go onto the CB server. Doubt it'll work for those layouts though.

understand that A LOT of my banners/images

for my layouts dont show up (i guess the

image hosting site hates me) However,

I don't have the time to fix all the layouts,

so unfortunately they will stay that way. I hope you

enjoyed using them while they lasted.

HOWEVER (1) a bunch of my simpler, normal layouts

that don't have images or minimal images still work

(ex: http://www.xanga.com/veryfine_155

http://www.xanga.com/veryfine_104

http://www.xanga.com/veryfine_298)

so feel free to search for ones that still work! :)

HOWEVER (2), at least one of my popular layouts

(one of the "veryspecial" ones) still works and is free to use:

Simple and Sweet --- check it out here:

http://www.xanga.com/veryfine_400

To save you time, here's a compiled list of "veryspecial"

layouts that still function properly:

Cool Water: http://www.xanga.com/veryfine_198

Remedy for Love: http://www.xanga.com/veryfine_200

Blossoms: http://www.xanga.com/veryfine_187

Gummy Bear Hug: http://www.xanga.com/veryfine_207

Smiling Kitty: http://www.xanga.com/veryfine_183

Simple&Sweet: http://www.xanga.com/veryfine_400

I hope my site was of help while it lasted or will last :)
