So Mother's Day is this Sunday, May 11th this year and I have no clue what to give. Theres always the bland ideas like floweres and a homemade card or whatever but I seriously can't think of anything to follow up last year's present.

Basically, My cousins and I planned a surprise Vegas gettaway weekend and she didn't know till she got home that she had a flight in 2 hours. We packed all her shit and she was on her way. She was like the happiest kid ever and yada yada yada.

Anyways, are there any suggestions or things you've done for your mother during her day?

^wow, that's a pretty awesome gift ;x. i would've reserved the awesome gifts for bdays lol.

flowering tea pot:

my bf and i got this for his mom. we all drink tea everytime we eat, so it was just appropriate. plus i thought it looked cool.

i still don't know what to get my own mom; she never uses any of the well-thought out gifts i give her. so i've pretty much given up. flowers and candy, here i go ;o

Best thing you can do for Mother's Day is to get her something she wouldn't otherwise get for herself. Salon days are always appreciated. If she has a favorite tv series, buy her a season on DVD. Cook her breakfast! Buy her a bag of her favorite coffee (or box of tea).

If you have younger siblings, have them make her a card. =)

Good luck finding something. I think I'm just going to buy my mom a bunch of seeds or plants for her garden. And then for my step mom, I guess a card will do for her.

I don't think your going to be able to find anything to beat your last gift to your mom, but just go out and look around and just find things for her. I'm sure she'll like what ever you choose.

I still don't know what to get my mom.

Last year, though, I made her gift. She has three kids and there's three letters in MOM so I took our pictures and made each of us a letter and put quotes around the pictures and framed it an all that jazz.

haha, I wish I was a little kid again, this would have been so much easier!

Her birthday is also on monday soo yeah, I think i'll just get a huge bonding thing since I never get to see her normally.
I ended up getting what she wanted, because she asked for it.
That spa thing sounds good, I have been thinking about it.

I have no idea what to get my mom, and its already Mother's Day. =( I'm sadly handicapped, due to the fact that I have no money. -_- That Vegas idea, however, sounded freaking awesome -- my mom would have LOVED that, she's a Vegas freak, haha.
