I guess this goes here, or in the showcase booth, but to post in both places is spam.

Ok so the point of this post is as follows:

I wrote an quick little riff, and did a basic recording of it.

It definitely wouldn't be a good main riff, but I was thinking for an intro to a song.

Constructive criticism is welcome, Don't say anything about it if its not saying that its good, or how it can be improved.

And yes its supposed to sound weird.

I don't think it sounds weird, and its a good intro, I mean I really wanted to listen to the rest of the song. I don't think its missing anything except for that XD

Weird little distortions for 20 seconds. Is this what I'm supposed to be hearing? The higher notes sound okay, but the rest kinda sounds like when I have my speakers on and are trying to plug them into my computer. I'd like to hear it when there's been a bit more done, though. Please don't take my post as rude, as I don't know much about music

whoah what instrument is that sounds like a distorted bass guitar.

Its not just distortion, its a preset I made. Its like a combination of wah and fuzz distortion with some serious compression and an attack reducer.

I also used a reverse effect on some Ds and thats the low noise you hear getting louder and then pinching off.

But yeah it is a bass.

Yeah some of it is weird distortions The higher notes don't sound too weird because they aren't reversed.

Pretty cool, it's like the sort song you would hear at the beginning of an album that fades right into the next song. It's good.
