How big is an actual background for a web page even designing one? Does anyone know please dicuss this I'm sleepy and well answer see the replys later on today.....For the ones that helped me thank you :)

It really depends on the resolution of your visitors' screens. Most people use 1024 resolution, with 800 x 600 being more obsolete now rather than the accepted norm.
I usually design with 1024 resolution in mind, but I will make backgrounds repeat or stretch further to accomodate for users with a larger screen res. |
