I read Running With Scissors.Such a good book.
I plan on reading dry but my friend can't remember to let me borrow it. I'll just have to buy it.
How was it?

i thought it was a really good book. typical of what you expect from him. it's amazing how he manages to make being a complete lush sound fabulous. the whole book is really good though.

Running With Scissors is a good book. Burroughs isn't a superb writer in the sense of an impressive vocabulary and witty word play, not by a long shot, but he can annotate his experiences and what he sees in his mind in a realistic, and understable, form of writing. It's very "in your face," which has its ups and downs. Overall, his books are decent. I like him better as a writer for DETAILS, though.

I've wanted to read him a whole lot. Maybe someone will suggest him for the CB Book Club and force me to...:D

I've read Running With Scissors, and I loved it! The movie really did not do it justice.
It totally freaked me out with all the graphic details of him having sex, though. I was reading it during English class and I kinda shrieked. xD (I'm kind of a prude. Why am I on cB again?)

I read Running With Scissors, it was okay, but it didn't stand out for me as much as it did for other people. I started to watch the movie, but it was so dry that I didn't even finish it.
