How close are YOU to your family? Options

i went to dinner with my family today along with my uncle and aunt and their two kids. we go to dinner together like once a month to twice a month to call ourselves a "family" because we "spend time" with each other. maybe its chinese families and how we're so competitive with each other, but we're honestly not that close.
like i see my boyfriend's family [he's hispanic] and i love how they are. his relatives come over his house a lot just to chill, not for any other reason, and it just amazes me. i've always wanted a family like that.

i'm alright with my parents. i don't tell them EVERYTHING but i tell them a lot. more so my mother then my father because i see her more. my mom knows more about my friends and stuff. but i love them both equally.

i'm actually not that close with my brother. i'll defend him all the way. but we don't talk about stuff, he's always asking me for help on certain stuff so it makes me feel like i'm important to him. if i do go off to college, i will miss him dearly even though we're pretty blah with each other. lol.

i'm probably closer to my two cousins - stanley and michael - than i am with anyone else in my family. i tell them two a lot. i trust them unconditionally and they both ALWAYS make me laugh. which is a big plus.
