They didnt just post inappropriate material, KC, they posted someones picture without their consent. You guys have to get over the rules at some point. This isnt so much a punishment. A punishment, to me, kind of implies that they get to come back at some point. This is a response, and a necessary measure to protect the privacy of the members of this board. Should those pics have gotten into the wrong hands, any number of things could have happened. You hear about these types of stories where people are getting stalked online all the time. Jusun could get in trouble legally if people thought that he didnt respond in the correct fashion.

How many times has sites like myspace or w/e been sued for this type of thing? I'm pretty sure Myspace automatically bans people for this type of offense. Besides this isnt just posting pictures of someone without their consent, or posting nudes. It's posting nudes of another member, which is an entirely unprecedented offense, and will never be tolerated on this site.

I'm a little out of the loop, but here's my opinion on the matter.

While the nude pictures were of a staff member, it was in a circumstance completely unrelated to CB. I haven't seen the pictures, or any evidence of links or pictures on this site, so no clue if they broke the TOS but I'm guessing they did. If there was an absolute need to share the pictures, it would probably have been more appropriate to share them in a way not connected to CB forums.

I'm all for being vocal about feelings for staff you don't like. But it could have been done in a better way. I'm really disappointed that they were banned, but they did go about it the wrong way...

Thats not the case at all, I think they deserve to be banned even if it is a year but permanent, I don't agree with.

Seriously, its against the rules -- but who cares? The issue's so much bigger than that, and those of you that are defending the three dumbshits in question that can't see that have serious moral issues.

Those pictures were taken for private eyes. Not the benefit of everyone all over the internet.

Ok, so I feel like I must say something on the matter.

First off, let me start off by saying, that I am neither sad nor happy to see the members be banned. I didn't really interact with them like that, but the punishment, whether fair or not, was handed down, and that is that.

With that being said, I must say, that the bullshit on cb is getting out of control now. I will be the first to admit, that I have had my bad feelings towards a few people on here, but I always settled it the right way, and didn't go making a big parade about it. Instead, you should just take the proper measures to have it out (aim, msn, pm, etc.)and let it just be.

As I have sat back and watched what has unfolded on cb, I always felt like I should jump in and say something, but I couldn't miss the chance for this one.

The lesson people need to learn is: You shouldn't throw stones if you live in a glass house. People need to start acting their age on here, and not their shoe size. While I thought the nudes were a bit much, although I did enjoy them (Brandon don't kill me!), I knew that something of that magnitude was going to happen. I mean in their defense, and please trish don't kill me because I don't know the whole situation, but when you hinted at exposing a video of joselyn stripping for Brandon, it was perfectly fine then. Now I mean, I don't know the whole story of that or how it went down, but it is just a point that I am sure we all get.

The problem with cb, is that everybody loves the drama on here. I can remember when I had my big spat with eddie and his girl, it was like something to behold. People that I thought were cool with me, suddenly had a problem because I was going against a popular figure on here. There are too many cliques on this forum, and two many fence jumpers on here as well. If people would just keep it a hundred, then there wouldn't be any problems.

I just hope that in the future, people will realize, that you are always not going to like what is said. Instead of making a big fuss over it though, we should all just take it behind the scenes and keep things moving around here.

I will admit, that even though I don't think he liked me, or at least that is what I heard, I will miss what Steven brought to the forums.

I realized that I'm ignoring a lot of what you said in your post and it's just because I really don't have anything to say (go against/support/etc).

I'm pointing this out because I think that there's a main difference between someone defending a "popular figure" and someone defending a friend.

Eddie's a friend of a lot of members - he's chatted, talked, and been there for a lot of people. Yes, that makes him a popular figure, but that also makes him a really good friend for a lot of people here and, idk about you, but I tend to defend my friends to the best of my ability.
