So i havent been into anime ever since i got into college, i guess i have just been too busy but the last anime series i saw was fullmetal alchemist which was one of the best in the world.

So i really havent been keeping up in anime lately so do you guys recommend anything at the moment? is there anything good out right now?

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya has been popular for a quite a while now; at least the past two or three months? If you know the Hare Hare Yukai dance, that's where it's from. xD I haven't seen the anime myself, though.

I just finished this series a lil' while ago. XD.gif Its fun, and my friend who gave it to me knows the dance too, hehe.

The only new recent animes that I've been hearing about from friends and such would be Death Note, comes on adult swim from what I believe. Supposed to be good, supposedly a "smart" anime.

Current anime I'm following:
  • Naruto Shippuuden - Yeah . . . .
  • D.Gray-man - Good reference.
  • Sketchbook full colorS - Really boring, but attractive for some reason.
  • Kimikiss Pure Rouge - Romance. Watching it because my crush likes it.
  • Rental Magica - Donno why.
  • Spice and Wolf - Interesting . . . .
Other stuff people liked that i didn't really enjoy
  • Rosario to Vampire - Eechi, school girls, vampires. Not into that.
  • Clannad - From the makers of tmohs. Didn't like that or this. Story line is basically the same to.

Most definitely Death Note : ) yay!, otherwise- Darker Than Black is fairly new, and I thought it was pretty good up until episode 9 or 10, when it started to lag. And I don't know how long Jigoku Shoujo's been out, but I really like it so far.

plus most characters are just really fun.

I definitely recommend Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge. It's so funny and cute!! throb.gif It's pretty much about a girl who's really creepy and scary. These 4 popular boys are trying to convert her into a polite young lady in exchange for a free house (well... free rent for the girl's auntie's house). It's really good and I liked it a lot. I even watch it over sometimes. xP. Aishiteruze Baby is okay, and the graphics are pretty cute as well. Death Note is pretty interesting (even though I didn't finish it). So I suggest Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge, Aishiteruze Baby, and Death Note.

I would suggest Hitman! Reborn ! :D

It's about a young kid who becomes a mafioso;
haha It's comediacal, meaningful, and really intresting!
I doubt you'll get sick of it.

*The latest Ep. that came out was 70

Um I think I would recommend Bleach I guess or Case Closed but thats not really popular anymore it's kind of old but I still like the show. I'm also a fan of Spiral if you like detective shows which is also what Case Closed is. Ummm Ouran High School Host Club is actually really funny show if you haven't seen that yet and I can't think of anymore animes at the moment but yeah hopefully you'll like some of these

OMG NO. Sorry but no one has the patience (anymore) to watch 3 episodes of characters powerful. I don't care if it's OVER 9000!!!!! It does provide a couple laughs, but I think anyone can spend their precious 30-min. intervals watching more quality anime.

OMG you watched Full Metal Alchemist?! That was SOOO awesome. I can't believe it ended. I wish it still went on. sad.gif But it was a good ending, especially since the movie tied up all the loose ends. But still, I wish it was longer so I absorb more of it's awesomeness. And it didn't have cheesy lines. I LOVED how everything was so well-thought out. :] I need to read the manga, but man it's so longggg haha.

I recommend Great Teacher Onizuka. I've only watched one episode and I didn't really watch anymore since I don't really like to watch shounen/seinen anime (I tend to stick to shoujo and josei), but my boyfriend and all the people who watched it love(d) it. Ah I guess I will get back to watching it again. :] I heard it's as good as the drama because they based the anime facial expressions off of Tamaki HIroshi (I think that was his name), who was the actor for the GTO drama.

Black Cat started off good, but I've only watched 1 episode.

Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya ahs started a cult in Japan. Let's not forget the prison dancing! Classic.

Ouran Host Club is awesome. They need a second season. It leaves me at a cliffhanger. If you're an open-minded person (don't mind the shounen-ai implications aka twincest lmao! It's not really though!), it's really fun to watch.

DN Angel's pretty good but I've only watched like 2-3 episodes haha. It's something chicks and dudes can watch. I got sidetracked so I never finished it. It's sitting on a burned disc somewhere.

Aishiteruze Baby - Ah well, if you want to head towards shoujo and you're not ready for the girliness/shoujoness that is Full Moon wo Sagashite, then head for this. It's really cute, but it's still very girly in its own way. wink.gif

Azumanga Daioh - Random. One of the few (if there are any others) that have no main plot whatsoever. But it's still lovable and random. Enjoy it -- it's worth it. :] But it's kinda short.

Dragon Ball Z used to be very enjoyable, now when you watch it, it's just cheesy.

Yes, I love how dbz had those 5 episode power ups. Naruto is becoming the same thing.

Gundam 00: Pretty good. I'm no hardcore Gundam fan but I love it and think it's the best series so far.

Lucky Starand/orMinami-ke: If you liked Azumanga Daioh, you will like this. If you thought Azumanga Daioh could have been a bit more exciting, you will like this.

True Tearsand/orCLANNAD:Aishiteruze Baby or any of the genre you will love these two series. CLANNAD is by CLAMP, brought us MelancholyOfHaruhiSuzimaya and Kanon, so of course it will be an awesome series.

I can go on and on... So just PM me if you're looking into some new series. This includes jdrama.
