background color, how do I make my background color seamless in different browsers? Options

I'm having a problem with my new layout I put on my myspace. The color is perfect in firefox but in IE it's a couple shades off from the background image. How do I make the background color seamless in both browsers? I love the layout but the color difference bugs me. Can someone help please?
