I am making a site containing myspace layouts..i put a nice little icon which links to my website in the lefthand corner of the layouts using the css code position:absolute...everything was great until i tested it out in internet explorer 5 (for my mac)...the icon showed up in the middle of the page..apparantly this is a bug with IE5..is this bug fixed in more current versions of IE? does anybody know a workaround? if not, should i abandon my icon ? or assume that most people dont use IE 5? thanks!\

Did you resize the window after the page loaded? That tends to happen with Internet Explorer.

Yes its only with IE 5. The position: absolute css wasn't added until 6 or 7. And 5 is the last stable version for mac. IE sucks anyway. FF and Opera pwn any day.
