Flirting is a beautiful art if used the right way. Have you tried it? Eventually at some point in your friendship if you continue to like him you'll have to tell him, even if you keep dropping hints. Has he shown intrest in you (in that way)?

He isnt a mind reader and after all that effort to get him to stop being mad at you it would be foolish to not tell him how you feel. Its going to be hard, yea but in the end the reward is sometimes greater than the risk.

Talk to the boy, you never know he might "like you" back.

I think you should just talk to him normally, and try to "flirt" with him haha. Just try to hint out that you like him, and if possible, try to ask your friends to ask him if he likes you. I'm sure he's showing interest to you since he said he notices you in the library a lot. ;). If he didn't like you, why would he care if you're in the library or not, right? :). Just try to talk to him as much as possible, and just be yourself. I'm sure that he'll realize you're different from his other friends. I also think that when he introduced himself to you, he's telling you he's showing some interest. Just try to talk to him as much as possible! :). Try to get to know each other better.
