Okay,
So i've decided to 'pimp my cB profile'

But it looks slightly more on the plain side without a banner.

Below is the base of my banner, but i seriously have no idea what to put on it.
I tried the plain base with 'createblog' written on it, and it's far too plain.

HELP!

haha =]

What do you think of the layout in general?

i love the colors you used for the headings... and the banner looks good to me. maybe you could add some brushes?! as for the background... hmm... not really liking it. it's cute but it seems off for the colors & banner. otherwise i think you're off to a good start.

I don't like how big the text for the module titles are, but that's just my personal preference. It's a decent layout.

well i personally don't think the background matches with the blue you chose. i don't know but there's something about it. maybe it's the yellow of the music note, i dk. but other then that, i like it. especially the comment box! _smile.gif

So you all think it looks fine without a banner?

I have no ideas for divs at the minute. So i'm trying to keep it simple but cute XD

Edit:
I've changed my layout, finally decided on a div.
I've submitted the other one to the layouts section.
Feedback on this one would be nice! I think i'm gunna stick to this one!

I like the colors. I'm not too fond of the font you've chosen. The only complaint from me is that the background around the About Me and Interests titles is white, but the background of the div is grey.

That's strange. I saved both of them as transparent .png files, i'm using IE6 and firefox, i've just checked on both of them to have a look, and i can't see it. What browser are you using?

I see a pink strip-ish background. xD

I think your profile is very cute and very cheery. It's juvenile (I don't mean that in an insulting way) and childlike.

You should make one for my kid. (just kidding)

PERSONALLY, I just want to make that clear xD I don't like the graphics, or the main text that you used on the images. (bubbly one) it bugs me, along with the rainbow, just makes me think of my little 3 yr. old brother drawing. The comment box is a little off, like the submit button should be down more to actually match up with the image, and I think it would a 100x better if it was completely centered.

My main problem with centering things, is my laptop, it's widescreen, and i get it perfect on there, and also check it all in ff and ie.
I dunno how to get it perfectly centered, but i do try. Any tips?

Aww, it's cute! I agree that I don't really care much for the bevel effect on the text, but I do like the colors and like the way it's setup.

I would prefer it without the banner, at least the one you've started on. But maybe you could make a new layout based on the banner, because I like the start you've got on it at least. I would keep it somewhat simple, though.

What I normally do for centering a div in a page in ANY resolution is position it with left: 50%;. Then I add margin-left: -###px; and the number is exactly half the width of the div. It should then be perfectly centered. Yes that is a negative number!

Anything you put on top of it would work the same way - left: 50%; - however, for the margin-left, you'll move it either left or right until it sits where you want it. If it's dead center, the number will be half the width of the div again, but if it's not, the number will either be bigger (farther left) or smaller (farther right) or even positive.

If that didn't make sense, I can try to provide an example.
