So I'm making a bulletin board type layout.

Underneath the pictures Im probably going to have some type of text. Not sure what to write yet.
The yellow is a post-it note. Probably have some image mapping there.
Not sure what to put to the right. Probably a large text box.
Still new to the whole layout making deal. C&C would be greatly appreciated.

Paper fixed.

With number.

I kinda liked the number idea. Tell me what you think happy.gif

Last edit:

Im working on coding the notebook paper.
And I realized at school that the top of the paper looks really white compared to the rest. Anyone else have that problem?

Hmm, it's alright I guess. What bothers me is that the images in the three polaroids look pixelated and low in quality. Also, it seems like the corners of the polaroids and the post-it note are halfway rounded and halfway pointed? Not to mentioned those rounded corners look pixelated, too. I'd also suggest using a more realistic background that better suits the bulletin board theme.

But it's looking good so far. Are you planning to add pushpins and all that good stuff? _smile.gif

Hah I tried using the pushpin shape on photoshop. It looked terrible. I'll just make my own later. The pictures are low quality. I can't find a place with the stock photos I'm looking for with good quality sad.gif I'm trying to make the background more realistic. I'm just stuck _smile.gif I'll figure it out tomorrow when im not so tired.

http://yotophoto.com/

this is a good site for stock photos or http://www.deviantart.com/ but make sure to ask the creator and give proper credit and what not

adding torn paper and stuff will make it more realistic. and like you already know the background needs more work and image quality .

just a little work and itll be really nice

I added some notepaper, push pins, and added new pictures. Tell me what you think.

No I know exactly what you mean. Its because I used a brush to get that type of edge, but I never finished erasing all of it >.< I fixed it though.

Much better. I just feel that the whole image needs some clarity, cause it looks as though everything has been gaussian blurred with a value of 0.5 or something.

It looks really, really good. The only probem is, there's about 200 "bulletin board type" layouts on createblog :\
