Well, you know you eat in class anyway. shrug.gif But when you guys are opening something in general when say, the teacher is teaching and the class is quiet or in general quiet, do you try ripping it slowly or rip it all at once to make less noise?

in my lecture halls it's highly unlikely that the professor will hear it, so usually I go ahead and just rip it open all at once.

Most of the time I already have opened stuff so there's no need for me to open it in the classroom because I know I'll be making a loud noise, but if it was new, I was just make some noise with my chair that's loud enough so that it overlaps the noise of me opening my bag. Or I just open it really really slow. My classrooms are rarely silent so it's easier for me to open bags.

I snack in class a lot, but I don't like it when everyone in class knows that I'm eating (It makes me feel too weird) so I usually just pack something that I can easily sneak. So it's all planned for me, lol. I have at class at 7:15am, and don't eat lunch until 12:30, I would die if I didn't eat in class! lol

i either try the hide-it-in-the-bookbag thing OR i just do the open it REALLY fast. i usually just casually stick the chip/a bite in my mouth while the teacher is turned around, lol.
it works most of the time.

other times, my teacher [with her english accent] just goes, "tiffany?! what are you doing?!" and just totally puts me out there in front of the class. laugh.gif

I always packed it in zip lock bags so it didn't make much noise.

Most teachers liked me anyway, so they never had a problem with me eating in class. I just simply had to ask them if I could eat it and they would always say yes.

I sneak out of class a lot to buy food. And then if there is a dead silence in class then I crunch it like, one bite every ten seconds and hope no one hears.

Haha, I've done that. I try to do it slowly and make as little noise as possible. Some days I don't care though and just open it loudly anyways. rolleyes.gif Depends.

stubborn.gif

When I was in middle school, I had to eat snacks during class because of my diabetes and I used to give myself insulin injections. But now that I'm on an insulin pump, I don't need to have snacks at certain times.

But that doesn't mean my teachers know that, and sometimes I use it as an excuse. rolleyes.gif
There have been a few times though where I've really needed to eat something.

Oh, and depending on how loud/quiet the class is, I rip it at once or open it slowly.
