i was left handed at first, but my mom beat it out of me because it wasn't the "proper" way of writng. so now im right handed.

Because the direction in which you write does not go along well with left-handed people. Some don't do it, but most I've seen do. When they write with pencil, their palm also goes over the letters as they write because they don't lift their hand up and the leftovers gets smudged on their hands.

I learned to write with the page nearly upside down... just so I can avoid it :P

But a righty in everything else....kinda =]

^I used to have a teacher make that joke all the time when I was in middle school.

I just realized, though, for doing literally EVERYTHING left-handed, my right hand is actually more productive on the piano. The left hand is always the one I have to slow down for. :P

my brother can write with both too. i can only use my right hand. my left is useless -___- i only use it for basketball when i need to.

My other brother is left handed and my mom is right handed, so she had to learn how to right with her left hand to teach him how to right when he was younger.

I use both.
when i was in first grade my teacher told me that being
left handed was a mental illness or something.
and so everytime she saw me (or anyone, for that matter)
write with their left hand, she'd have them
stand in a corner of the class
holding out those heavy history books for like 10 minutes or something.
but i do 3/4 of my stuff with my left hand.
