No, that would be embarrassing for him. :P I don't carry a purse too often anyway.

he always offers, and when i'm lazy i accept the offer ;P
mellow.gif i would never offer to carry my girlfriend's person. if she asked i would, but i wouldn't constantly pursue holding it.

Well, for one thing, I don't carry around purses and usually I don't like people carrying things for me...unless its something small like keys and such.

I only ask when I'm going to the bathroom and don't want to deal with it. Or if I need both hands.

It's just like asking them to hold anything else. As long as you don't keep them holding it, then it's fine.

I made my boyfriend hold and he held it like it had a disease or something laugh.gif but yeah I make him hold it if I have to go to the bathroom or hold a baby(and had something else is in the other hand and the purse fell off my shoulders, oh I hate that) or taking off my coat.

If it's so heavy that you have to have him carry it, maybe you should empty some of your crap out of it. Or go to the gym and get a little strength.

If you have to do something real quick, then I can see him holding it. Sometimes I'll just hand mine to whomever I know that's there. Or set it on the ground.

Whenever I see guys carrying their girlfriend's purses and bags at the mall it just screams pussywhipped. whistling.gif

I'd ask him if I needed to do something where holding my purse would be a hassle. Then, I'd ask for it back when I'm done (:

My boyfriend only carries mines when I need a free hand.
I'll ask him, "Baby will you hold my purse for a second so I can .....?" and he's like "yeah, of course, baby" and after i'm done i'll take it back. There's nothing wrong with it, it's quite nice of guys to help out. :)

nah. i wouldnt do that to him. If i did i would probably just ask him to hold it for a few seconds if i needed to use both hands for something.
