So I went on a protest march today, demanding freedom of speech on our campus after a series of events last semester... Got me to thinking, what do you feel really strongly about. If there was an issue that you were to organize a protest, demonstration, whatever, what would it be about? What's your cause, basically?

Also doing an anti-arms trade 'die-in' and a street protest next week, gonna be wicked.

How does a peaceful protest or march accomplish anything?

Reminds me of this, which unfortunately is still dead.

I'm going to argue the low wages of military service members by grabbing a sign and sitting peacefully outside of the gate at DFAS Kansas City.

I would want to protest the Iraq war, because it's absolutely ridiculous to continue the war. Imagine all of the money we used, all the innocent civilians as well as American troops that we've killed, and on top of that, the planes, tanks, and fuel-using technology that adds to global warming. I'd also like to end animal testing, and possibly reduce global warming because it's getting EXTREMELY out of hand nowadays.

Global warming.

Not to stop it, but rather to have more people become aware of it. Lately, it's "cool" to go green, but because it's "cool", a lot of dumb people sure don't know what the heck they're supporting.

Eh, there's really no way to protest this, but I hate the fact that healthy eating is so strongly promoted yet healthy and organic foods cost significantly more than the foods people of average income brackets can afford.
