shopping for a better world, =)! Options

hey all,

i was just sitting here and wondering about shopping. (i'm a shopping addict, but recently i've been kinda broke) and i'm thinking about shopping locally or organically.

last year there was a little of a trend going on on wearing eco friendly clothes but it seems to have died off...

i agree, environemental friendly clothing does cost more and doesn't always look the most fashionable.

but i think that there ARE lots of stores, just not everyone knows about them

i know in vancouver, canada there a few local stores and bigger companies like Roots who don't have sweatshops and do have eco-friendly tactics.

so i'm wondering where you live, do you have eco-friendly, non-sweatshop stores? if so, what are they called? and do you personally shop therE?
