Hello Cat! I'm Vinity, and welcome to the cB forums. I'll gladly answer your questions to my best capabilities. 1. Any photoshop is fine for a newbie. When I first started photoshop, I started with 7.0, then worked myself up to CS2 (which is practically the same but with a few more advanced stuff). I'd say just start with CS2 or something. Oh, and you have to buy it from the website or wherever your nearest computer store is. You can get the free trial here. 2. I'm not sure how to answer this question seeing as though I'm not sure if it's for HTML or something else.

Welcome to Createblog! _smile.gif I'm Jane. Its nice to meet you. I'm a total doof when it comes to designing and I don't know so much about it. But I had an easy time with Paint Shop Pro. Also, for your second question, you can always take a look in the Resource Center. There are plenty of Design Staff and topics that will help you out for sure.
